New Club Captain Andy Collins was officially inaugurated on Friday morning at the Pickle by his predecessors Ben Long, Brad Drew and Chris Drew.
Outgoing Captain Ben said “I’ve spent nearly two years as the proud captain of the Vikings Cycling Club and it is with great pleasure, and additional pride, that today I was able to hand over the reigns to club stalwart Andy Collins. Andy has done immense work for the club behind the lines and it’s high time he gets some recognition (and additional responsibility) with the #1. Well done Andy and good luck!”
The #1 race number was presented to be new Captain and is signed on the back by four previous Club Captains.
