Vikings junior Zoe Cuthbert yesterday took out the u15 women’s Oceania MTB championship in the Olympic Cross Country (XCO) discipline in Toowoomba, QLD. Zoe rode strongly over the course in very hot conditions, taking a commanding lead and finishing ahead of the field by over five minutes.
Meanwhile at the Junior Track Nationals in Melbourne, Lauren Robards featured in the bronze medal final for the Women’s u15 Individual Pursuit. Although narrowly missing the podium, Lauren’s superb effort posted her a blisteringly fast time in the final – faster than the eventual silver medallist!
Today Lauren has backed up with a bronze medal in the points race, only narrowly missing out on the silver due to a crash!
